In recognition of her work she was nominated for three Olivier Awards. In 2015, she was a part of the Game of Thrones fifth season in the role of Septa Unella. The actress was also the main character in the 2012 adaptation of Les Miserables. Waddingham is nominated as an Golden Globe Award nominee.
