Hannah Waddingham is a British actor, singer and performer who is best known for her roles in Ted Lasso and on stage in West End shows. Her roles in Spamalot's first West End production, the Regent's Park revival of Into the Woods and The Wizard of Oz (as the Wicked Witch of the West) are among her most notable. In recognition of her work she was nominated for three Olivier Awards. In 2015, she was a part of the Game of Thrones fifth season in the role of Septa Unella. The actress was also the main character in the 2012 adaptation of Les Miserables. Waddingham is nominated as an Golden Globe Award nominee. Since 2020, she has been the role as Rebecca Welton in the Apple TV+ comedy series Ted Lasso in which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and the Critics Choice Television Award for the Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2021 and 2022.
